Goniatitida

A goniatite is a small ammonoid from the Devonian and Carboniferous period, with simple suture lines because the septa still have a smooth, slightly curved pattern. The order of Goniatitida belongs to the squidlike class (Cephalopoda) and the phylum molluscs (Mollusca).
